The Great Yorkshire Show - 2008

On wednesday, i went to the 150th Great Yorkshire Show, at Harrogate.

I had a look around the sheep pens.



Sheep shearing contest.


Then i went to have a look at the cows.




The cows are kept in these sheds.


Eh up, the BBC's about!


The horse stables are on the right hand side of this photo.








I went to have a look at the lamb carcases.


The Black Sheep beer tent!!!

As its the Yorkshire show, i thought i would take a photo of some ferrets!



This is somekind of fishing demonstration.

You get allsorts of people at the show..... LOL

Then i went for a look around the BBC tent...



And nearly got exterminated!!


Some people were having a go at reading the weather. And no, thats not the real Paul Hudson in the background, its just a cardboard cut out (i know, i could not tell the difference either lol).


There was also a 'fake' Tardis.




Time to have a look at the food and plant show!

Here i am, sat on the grass, tired out and ready to go home.
