A Ride Out To Beckwithshaw - North Rigton And Spofforth!

I cycled to Harrogate, and went for a haircut.
Then i decided to have a cycle around, and kind of got lost!!
I ended up in the small village of Beckwithshaw, so i decided to have a look around as i have never been there before.....


I stopped for a rest and a coffee.

I found a pub and went in for a pint :-)

Then i set off again, and ended up in North Rigton.

Some of my ancestors were tennant farmers here.

I had a ride out near Armscliff Crag.

Here i am in a field!

Nice views of the Yorkshire countryside.

Then i cycled to Spofforth for a well earned pint in the Castle pub ;-)

Then i went to the other castle, to eat my lunch and finish my flask of coffee!

A Ride Out To Saint Roberts Cave In Knaresborough!

I rode to Knaresborough, and stopped for a sandwich and some coffee.







Then i cycled to Saint Roberts cave for a wander around!


He dug his own grave, but he wasn't buried here (i bet he was a bit peaved of about that lol)
