London Part 4 - The Final Chapter!

This is number 67 Eardley Crescent, Earls Court, where Carry On actress Hattie Jacques lived (note the blue plaque on the wall).

London Part 3 - The Pubs Of Earls Court!

As im sure you know im a big fan of pubs, so i decided to photograph them all to remind me of all the boozy evenings i have had in Earls Court. Enjoy!!

London Part 2 - Lunch In The Angel!

I went to the Museum Of Natural History. Im not really into this sort of thing, but as it was free to get in i decided to have a wander round.


Then i had a very long walk along the Thames. . .




This polite gentleman waved at me.


I felt rather hungry so i had lunch in the Angel!

I had the beef suet pudding.

I got the tube back to Earls Court.

Then i went back to my hotel, before going on a pub crawl :-)

London Part 1 - The Monument!

I got the train from Leeds, and made use of the free wi-fi (which was rather slow).

I arrived at Kings Cross.

I went for a pint in the Blind Beggar pub in Whitechapel.

The next day, i walked along the Thames and ended up at The Monument.

Here it is!

I went inside and bought a ticket, which was only three pounds!

I climbed the 311 stairs to the top!!

At last, i got to the top!

The view was very nice, but i felt a little dizzy as i don't like heights very much.

Here i am at the top.

Time to go back down the 311 steps...

As i left someone handed me a certificate, which proves i went all the way to the top!
